Door County Kraut has expanded their product lines. Our latest endeavor to enhance on our locally grown and produced, sauerkraut, vegetables and fruits has been to make some of our family favorite foods available to the public.
Our smoked whitefish dips are made from whitefish commercially caught in our local waters and smoked at Charlie’s Smokehouse of Gills Rock. Charlie’s Smokehouse in Gills Rock has been smoking fish for over 70 years and the tradition of this type of food preservation has been handed down through the generations.
We endeavor to make our dip products something you can enjoy immediately, or take home and keep refrigerated or frozen for enjoyment later.
Our smoked whitefish dips come in Original and Southwest styles. Our Original is a favorite of customers who enjoy the delicate flavor of the smoked fish.
Our Southwest style dip is a very mild product allowing the smoked fish flavors to blend with our blend of seasonings and spices. The Southwest style dip has even converted consumers who previously professed to having an aversion to smoked fish become avid fans of our dip.
